Abstract

The aim of this study was to identify the reasons for the increased mortality rate among newborns born to pregnant women infected with COVID-19, as well as to determine which specific diseases or organ dysfunctions contribute to this mortality rate. The study focused primarily on pneumonia in the lungs of newborns as a result of COVID-19. Additionally, the weight, gender, age, and other relevant factors of newborns born to mothers with COVID-19 were analyzed.
