Foundations of Orthopedic Stomatology

This article examines the fundamental aspects of orthopedic dentistry - a field aimed at restoring the integrity of the dentoalveolar system through prosthetics, correcting tissue defects, and ensuring the full functioning of the chewing apparatus. Modern methods of diagnosis, principles of orthopedic treatment, classification of dental prostheses, biomechanical bases of construction, as well as features of the interaction of a dentist-orthopedist with other specialists are highlighted.
