Treatment of Tuberculosis in Hiv Patients Attending Two Health Care Facilities in Osun State
Abstract
HIV/TB co-infection presents a complex and challenging public health issue globally, particularly in resource-limited settings such as Nigeria. The intersection of these two diseases has profound implications for healthcare systems, as co-infected individuals often experience poorer health outcomes and face increased mortality rates compared to those with either infection alone. Understanding the prevalence, treatment outcomes, and determinants of HIV/TB co-infection is essential for informing targeted interventions and improving patient care.
