Abstract

Background and aim: Proximal femur fractures are common among the elderly, often resulting from low-energy trauma. Effective management requires consideration of various factors, including patient demographics and comorbidities, to optimize outcomes. This retrospective analysis aimed to assess the impact of demographics and comorbidities on the Hounsfield unit (HU) scale for predicting surgical methods in proximal femur fractures.
