spleenAbstract
The spleen differs from other organs in that it changes depending on the functional state of the organism and early initiation of autolytic processes in it after death. Interpretation of experimental studies of this organ is difficult because there are interspecies differences in the structure of the spleen of mammals and humans. These characteristics depend mainly on the main functions assigned to this organ in different animals. This article provides information about the standard anatomical and morphological features of the spleen.
