Prevention of hypertensive crisis in patients with hypertension may be associated with improving hypertension management. When patients come to the emergency room or doctor's office with a sharp increase in blood pressure, proper management is necessary to avoid fatal damage to the central nervous system, heart and kidneys as a result of the delay in starting effective therapy, or too heavy therapy-a rapid drop in blood pressure can cause hypotonic crisis.
