Abstract

Hemorrhoidal disease is one of the most common pathologies in modern proctology, affecting up to 25-30% of the adult population in developed countries and occupying a leading position among diseases of the anorectal region. Despite the apparent ease of diagnosis, hemorrhoids represent a complex medical and social problem that significantly reduces the quality of life of patients and requires a differentiated approach to treatment depending on the stage of the disease and its clinical manifestations.
