Abstract

As a result of factor analysis, it was established that the main reason for unsatisfactory results of the Lichtenstein operation (relapses - 3.9%) is the failure of the sutures after autoplasty (relapses - 8.5%) when the implant is displaced from the points of fixation due to dystrophic-degenerative changes in the tissues or their ruptures.
