Morphological Changes in Ovarian and Endometrial Tissues of Pregnant Women with Acute Leukemia
Abstract
Acute leukemia is a heterogeneous tumor disease of the blood system, which begins when the monoclonic stem cells of the blood-forming tissues undergo tumor proliferation. The primary characteristics of this disease are cell cycle disruption, uncontrolled proliferation, lack of differentiation, and accumulation and spread of pathological cells. Although acute leukemia is relatively rare in pregnant women, it has a significant adverse impact on pregnancy development. The intensity of polychemotherapy and the use of chemotherapeutic drugs affect the duration and outcome of pregnancy.
