Mediators of inflammation and the activity of lymphocyte-platelet adhesion were studied in 58 patients with osteoarthritis. The control group consisted of 16 practically healthy individuals. An increase in the concentration of proinflammatory cytokines (IL-1, TNF, IL-6) and an increase in the activity of lymphocyte-platelet adhesion in patients with osteoarthritis were established. A relationship was revealed between the level of pro-inflammatory cytokines and the degree of lymphocyte-platelet adhesion activity.
