Abstract

This article discusses the issues of patriotic education among young people and contemporary approaches and psychological mechanisms for its implementation. The role of individual characteristics of the person, motivational and volitional qualities, national heritage, and ancestral experience in the patriotic education of young people in the era of globalization is analyzed.
