PSYCHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF PATIENTS WITH ONCOUROLOGICAL DISEASES

Patients with oncourological diseases face not only physical suffering, but also severe psychological difficulties. The diagnosis of oncological disease disrupts emotional balance, provoking the development of anxiety, depressive and adaptation disorders. These conditions negatively affect adherence to treatment, general well-being and social activity of patients. The article considers the main psychological characteristics of oncourological patients, emphasizes the need for comprehensive care, including psychological support at different stages of treatment.
