Abstract

This article explores the advancements in diagnostic and surgical technologies for the management of ascending aortic aneurysm (AAA). Given the increasing incidence of AAA and its associated risks, effective early diagnosis and innovative surgical techniques are crucial for improving patient outcomes. The study reviews contemporary diagnostic methods, including Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA), and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), highlighting their roles in accurate aneurysm detection and characterization.

Surgical interventions are discussed in detail, comparing traditional open surgical repair with minimally invasive options such as Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR) and robotic-assisted surgery. The findings emphasize that these newer techniques not only reduce perioperative complications and recovery times but also enhance overall patient satisfaction.

By integrating advanced diagnostic and surgical technologies, healthcare providers can significantly improve the prognosis for patients with ascending aortic aneurysms. The article concludes by advocating for ongoing research and interdisciplinary collaboration to further refine treatment approaches and enhance clinical outcomes.
