THE EFFECT OF HERBAL MEDICINAL PRODUCTS ON BLOOD BIOCHEMICAL PARAMETERS IN NON-COMMUNICABLE DISEASES

The article presents an analytical review of modern scientific data on the effect of herbal medicinal products on biochemical blood parameters in noncommunicable diseases. Changes in carbohydrate, lipid, and protein metabolism, liver functional status, markers of inflammation, and oxidative stress are considered. The main mechanisms of pharmacological action of herbal medicines, their clinical significance, safety, and prospects for use as part of combination therapy are analyzed. It is shown that herbal medicinal products, when used rationally and under laboratory monitoring, can effectively complement standard treatment regimens for noncommunicable diseases.
