Cerebrovascular diseases remain a significant health concern, particularly among elderly patients. Chronic cerebrovascular insufficiency is a leading cause of cognitive impairments, dementia, and disability, making it a key focus for neurologists, cardiologists, and general practitioners. This condition can lead to progressive neurodegenerative changes, affecting patients' quality of life. Furthermore, stroke, one of the most severe consequences of cerebrovascular diseases, often results in long-term neurological deficits. This study explores the pathophysiology of chronic cerebral circulatory disorders, their role in cognitive decline, and the therapeutic approaches aimed at improving patient outcomes and preventing further deterioration.
