In modern neurology, the problem of cognitive impairment in chronic cerebral ischemia is becoming increasingly relevant. Of particular interest is the study of the effect of anxiety-depressive disorders on the formation and progression of cognitive deficits in this category of patients. According to the World Health Organization, the prevalence of cognitive impairment in patients with chronic cerebrovascular pathology reaches 40-60%, and in 30-35% of cases they are combined with various affective disorders.
