Abstract

Diabetic neuropathy is one of the most frequent and severe complications of diabetes mellitus, occurring in 60-90% of patients with a prolonged course of the disease. This complication is characterized by progressive damage to the peripheral nervous system, leading to the development of pain syndrome, sensory impairment, motor disorders, and a significant decrease in the quality of life of patients.
